Baking To Build Community

​As I was sitting on my porch today I thought to myself;  how could I  bring friends and family together to help build a stronger community? After pondering this question I decided that I will use my baking skills to help build a stronger community. Who doesn't like the excitement of baking something beautiful and delicious? 
I remember as a kid growing up how amazing it was to live in a community of people that loved and cared for each other. Nowadays people seem more distant than ever before. Honestly, I don't even know many of the people that live in the houses surrounding me. I rarely see any of them and the isolation is quite overwhelming. I'm wondering how many other people feel this way. Anyway, I am going to take my skills and do something about it. Hopefully, it will spark and inspire others to find a way to do the same.
