Meet Your Hometown Baker: Cassandra Thornton of BSweet’s Pie & Cake Co
Hey y’all! I’m Cassandra Thornton—your local pie and cake lady, and the sweet soul behind BSweet’s Pie & Cake Co right here in Liberty County, Georgia.
Born and raised in this very community, baking has always been more than just mixing flour and sugar for me—it’s been a way to love on people. Every pie, every cake, every sweet treat I make is baked with heart, soul, and a whole lot of Southern care. This little dream of mine started in my own kitchen and quickly turned into something beautiful—thanks to the love and encouragement of my daughter, Tiffany Sherrie.
It all began with one sweet potato pie post before Thanksgiving—and honey, the way our neighbors showed up and showed out? I knew I had to keep going. Since then, BSweet’s has become more than just a bakery. It’s become a place where stories are shared, birthdays are sweeter, and traditions are made—one slice at a time.
We don’t mass-produce around here. Everything is made with intention—just like grandma used to do it. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, welcoming a new baby, or just need something sweet to get through the week, I’m honored to be a part of your life’s moments.
From my family to yours, thank you for trusting BSweet’s to bring joy to your table. Come on by or send a message—I’d love to bake something special just for you.
